Superintendent
$70,000 - $110,000
General Laborer
$15 - $25 per hour

Job Summary

We are looking for dependable and hardworking General Laborers to support the construction and rehabilitation of water and wastewater treatment facilities. This is a full-time position averaging 35–40 hours per week, depending on weather and jobsite conditions. Work is primarily outdoors, and travel to various project sites across Texas is required.

The ideal candidate will be physically capable, reliable, and ready to contribute to hands-on work in a construction environment. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required to get to job sites. Prior construction experience is a plus, but we’re more than willing to train motivated individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily construction activities, including site preparation, material handling, and equipment setup

  • Support skilled tradesmen in the installation and rehabilitation of water and wastewater systems

  • Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times on active job sites

  • Use hand and power tools as directed

  • Load, unload, and organize materials and tools

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Travel to job sites as needed and work outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Take direction from supervisors and work well with other crew members

Skills & Requirements

  • Willingness to travel to job sites across the region

  • Ability to perform physical labor and lift 50+ pounds

  • Must be able to stand, bend, and move for long periods

  • Comfortable working in outdoor conditions

  • Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment (training provided if needed)

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-first attitude

Experience

  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification preferred (company will assist in obtaining if not already certified)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the execution of both rehabilitation and new construction projects on water and wastewater treatment facilities. This position requires regular travel to project sites and close coordination with engineering teams to ensure the successful implementation of design plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day field operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and laborers.

  • Read and understand plans and project specifications.

  • Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to monitor progress and quality control measures.

  • Oversee project scheduling to ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables.

  • Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate construction estimates and budgets.

  • Maintain effective communication with clients, engineers, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Must be able to travel to the job sites as assigned.

  • Hands-on and willing to work.

  • Strong work ethic and ability to be a team player.

 

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.

  • Organizational skills with a focus on project scheduling and resource allocation.

  • Strong attention to detail for quality control throughout all phases of construction.

  • Effective leadership abilities to manage the team in a dynamic environment.

 

Experience & Education

  • College degree preferred, but not required.

  • Must have completed a High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.

 

Other Requirements

  • Minimum 10-Hour OSHA Certification. 30-Hour OSHA Certification is strongly encouraged. (company will assist in obtaining if not already certified)

  • Valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation

  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds

  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods

  • Must be able to access/navigate the job sites in variety of outdoor conditions

  • Proficient with Powertools
